Program Version: muon 4:5.6.0-0ubuntu1
While downloading the selected packages for update/installation, the
column reporting download progress does not update in flight.
The value remains at 0% until the whole package is completely
Just updated to the last 5.18.0-0ubuntu1.4 package, and creating a new
connection works.
However, editing an existing connection throws the same "guint" bug.
I haven't rebooted yet, but be aware that the bug is still lingering there.

Same here: gear icon appearing on the systray, hovering above with the
mouse the pop-up appears saying there are updates, clicking on it brings
up the muon-updater window that invariably says The software on this
computer is up to date.
So, muon-notifier works OK, but muon-updater fails.

Confirmed, worked fine in maverick but - after distro upgrade - the
password is lost.
From a very quick check, looks like the Microblog widget doesn't use
kwallet to save the password any more.

Sorry, but this is NOT a duplicate of #561479.
This is a stupid bug caused by the cautious-launcher script author,
that is using Zenity to create a GUI error window to inform the user of
the execute-bit
The suggested workaround is effective, but just for that specific
session.
During shutdown, the text console appears briefly, and then the Plymouth
shutdown graphic screen stays on with the dots counting down until
power off. This has always been the behaviour on shutdown since a fresh
10.04
It's happening to me too, since upgrading KDE to 4.5 from Kubuntu's
backports PPA.
Since upgrading to 4.5, I have no graphic screen on shutdown, only the text
console, and I can see the

just before shutdown.
