When ever I lock the screensaver and leave it for few hours, and try to
unlock the screen, it shows blank screen, where I could only the mouse
pointer. But I am able to switch to console altf1 to alt+f6.

machine from X session it fails the screen goes blank with line
flickering on it, the same happend virtual console or opened (Ctrl+Alt+F
1 - 6 )
