[Bug 1242907] Re: The Shutdown button does not work
Ok, it's not Cairo Dock itself. It must be something that Cairo Dock or other packages do when starting up. Some querying or system call, maybe a timing issue? Set Cairo Dock to start 20 seconds after login, logged out, logged back in - problem solved for me! The buttons work. Removed bash sleep command, logged out, logged in again - buttons don't work no more. Maybe some other package causes this problem for everyone else. [Bug 1242907] Re: The Shutdown button does not work
This bug might have something to do with Cairo Dock. I have to users on my computer: one with and one without Cairo Dock. The one without Cairo Dock set to run at startup doesn't have this problem. The Shutdown dialog appears and the log out button also works. Only the one with Cairo Dock has this problem. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1242907 Title: The Shutdown button does not work To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1242907/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1204512] Re: [DP35DP] Ubuntu 13.04 fails to resume from suspend
Christopher, I received an email from bugs.launchpad.net saying: The message you sent included commands to modify the bug report, but you didn't sign the message with an OpenPGP key that is registered in Launchpad. How can I fix this or should I just ignore it? Well, the first mail I sent to the Kernel mailing list got rejected because some HTML got in. I sent another but this time didn't CC it to Launchpad. [Bug 1204512] Re: Ubuntu 13.04 fails to resume from suspend
I tested it with the latest kernel. It did not fix the bug. The was just a minor difference with the upstream kernel. The screen didn't turn on at all when before it turned on but stayed black.
