Public bug reported: When attempting to invoke rubber to compile a LaTeX document, I get the following error message:
Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/bin/rubber", line 5, in <module> from rubber.cmdline import Build, Clean ImportError: cannot import name Build A simple 'from rubber import cmdline' works with python2.7, but dir(cmdline) doesn't include either Build or Clean. This error only started to occur after upgrading to xenial, and I have rubber 1.4-2 installed. ** Affects: rubber (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1578814 Title: import error when trying to compile To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/rubber/+bug/1578814/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
