On a freshly installed system I tried installing fglrx-updates and got a
instalation failed message in jockey, but the drivers regardless seem
to be working alright. Don't know if this is the same issue or not, but
it would be nice to be fixed.
same for me on ubuntu precise 64bits. catalyst 12.4
solved by aumix, I increased the volume of line in so it can be
heared... the alsamixer console is bugged

this is useful for me because I have a TV tunner encore (saa 7134) which
has a connector that join the line out of this card and the line in or
mic in of my audio card. so, in order to listen the TV channels you need
to listen the line in by your speakers or headphone

no really, let me explain the situation.
I can use my mic with no problems in skype, mumble and others app, but I
need to listen what I'm talking (or listen the line in port) in my
speakers and it's imposible although I have raise the volume in the
audio panel and alsamixer
