On a freshly installed system I tried installing fglrx-updates and got a instalation failed message in jockey, but the drivers regardless seem to be working alright. Don't know if this is the same issue or not, but it would be nice to be fixed. same for me on ubuntu precise 64bits. catalyst 12.4
