[Bug 1247736] Re: nvidia-opencl-icd-* should not conflicts/replaces on opencl-icd
I also ran into this behavior while doing an optimus install on a Sony Vaio S with Xubuntu 14.04 (Trusty). Following this guide: http://www.muktware.com/2013/12/install-nvidia-331-bumblebee-optimus- cards/18271 During the install, nvidia-331 wishes to remove wine1.6-amd64 and subcomponents thanks to ocl-icd. Using the following from comment #7: sudo apt-get install ocl-icd-opencl-dev Then: sudo apt-get install wine1.6-amd64 solves the issue. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1247736 Title: nvidia-opencl-icd-* should not conflicts/replaces on opencl-icd To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nvidia-cuda-toolkit/+bug/1247736/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1198413] [NEW] Install chown .bash_history to root:root
Public bug reported: 1.Description: Linux Mint 15 Olivia Release:15 2.terminator: Installed: 0.96-2fakesync1 Candidate: 0.96-2fakesync1 Version table: *** 0.96-2fakesync1 0 500 http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ raring/universe amd64 Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status 3.install as normal. 4.install proceeded as normal, terminator package functions properly, however in all user terminals history function ceased. After some google-fu, checked ~/.bash_history and found instead of $user:$user, it was root:root for ownership. FIX: sudo chown $user:$user ~./bash_history Uncertain as to why installation would chown history file, but it's sorted now, and all terminals recognize history file properly. ** Affects: terminator (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1198413 Title: Install chown .bash_history to root:root To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/terminator/+bug/1198413/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
