The v3.4-precise kernel (May 21, 2012) does not fix this bug either. Public bug reported: I have a Toshiba Satellite L755-1NT and when I boot up Ubuntu 12.04 it hangs for 70 seconds and then moves on to successfully boot system. I can avoid the wait booting up with the acpi=off option but that removes lots of functionality from the laptop (battery information, automatic shutdown and more) which is annoying.
