[Bug 1341811] Re: bluefish fails to start in 14.04
You probably hit a bug already fixed in bluefish 2.2.6 (see #1300648). AFAIK there is already a request to at least upload a fixed bluefish version to trusty-updates or trusty-backports. [Bug 943940] Re: Can't generate a new key if the .gnupg dir is a link to a dir in another partition
There are probably several methods to make this work. One is described here: http://support.gpgtools.org/kb/faq/networked-home-broken. Or your can use a configuration option either on the command line or via gpg.conf to set up the location of the secret keyring and store that on the encrypted partition. Also using --homedir or exporting GNUPGHOME with the location to the .gnupg directory should work. I'm therefor closing this report. [Bug 1285400] Re: package docbook-xml 4.5-7.2 failed to install/upgrade: package docbook-xml is already installed and configured
This is not a bug related to docbook-xml. For some reason, some of the already fully installed and configured packages (e.g. libattica0.4, docbook-xml, etc.) shall be configured and installed again. Maybe you tried to manually configure them although they already had been configured and installed. Maybe you (or something in your system) messed up the dpkg database. I don't know. However, the log clearly shows, that this is tried for a bunch of packages including docbook-xml and that it fails for all these packages. [Bug 952612] [NEW] Package @GCONFPKGS@ was not found in the pkg-config search path.
Public bug reported: There is a serious issue in the libgucharmap-2-90-dev package in the .pc file. The field Requires.private says: Requires.private: @GCONFPKGS@ which leads to this error trying to get the CFLAGS: pkg-config --cflags gucharmap-2.90 Package @GCONFPKGS@ was not found in the pkg-config search path. Perhaps you should add the directory containing `@GCONFPKGS@.pc' to the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable Package '@GCONFPKGS@', required by 'gucharmap', not found and thus e.g. bluefish fails to build, because the necessary include directive for gucharmap headers gets lost. ** Affects: gucharmap (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/952612 Title: Package @GCONFPKGS@ was not found in the pkg-config search path. Bluefish executes the browser command marked as standard in the browser list in preferences. The browser list contains an entry for Mozilla and one for Firefox. The latter should work. [Bug 881254] Re: DocBook Package: Tools are broken and no longer supported
Your report contains several problems and it is not clear to me, what you are requesting nor what you are exactly complaining about (except that docbook-utils is not a recent toolchain). Therefor I'm setting it to Invalid. Please reassign and formulate your request. There are the issues with your report: docbook2pdf belongs to docbook-utils not docbook. openjade also does not belong to docbook. docbook contains the *SGML* document type definitions, but you are referring to an XML file. docbook-utils is not a recent toolchain and usually not adequate for DocBook XML. To process the XML sources you should use docbook-xsl (with e.g. xsltproc or xslto) or docbook2x or xmlroff. I would recommend the one mentioned first. You might also get docbook-xsl2 from the upstream website and use it with an XSLT2 processor like saxon9. ** Changed in: docbook (Ubuntu) Status: New = Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/881254 Title: DocBook Package: Tools are broken and no longer supported To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/docbook/+bug/881254/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
