[Bug 1767361] Re: 4.6.6deb5 not working on Bionic as PHP 7.2 is default

2019-10-20 Thread Dave Pusey
I can confirm that the following sequence of commands worked on both of
my 1804 LTS servers that were affected by this issue...

add-apt-repository ppa:phpmyadmin/ppa
apt-get clean
apt-get update
apt-get purge phpmyadmin
apt-get install phpmyadmin

[Bug 1773859] Re: upgrades to 18.04 fail

2019-10-20 Thread Dave Pusey
This is still broken as of today.

Tried to upgrade a fully up-to-date 1604 LTS system to 1804 LTS using
"do-release-upgrade" and it failed with this exact issue.

Had to use the steps from comment #3 above to get it working...

mv /usr/share/dbus-1/system-services/org.freedesktop.systemd1.service
/usr/share/dbus-1/system-services/org.freedesktop.systemd1.service.bak
apt-get -f install

[Bug 1021910] Re: live-f1 login fail

2014-05-12 Thread Dave Pusey
That does happen on occasion when the FOM servers are under load. If you
running the latest version it should auto-retry for you.

Username and password can be changed in ~/.f1rc

[Bug 956636] Re: Corruption in output

2012-03-16 Thread Dave Pusey
I wasn't online during the live sessions this morning to test this, but
it would appears to be working fine now.

If the applet on the F1 website was showing the same thing, it wasn't a
fault with this software.

[Bug 580936] Re: Sync live-f1 0.2.9-1 (universe) from Debian unstable (main)

2010-05-26 Thread Dave Pusey
Ok thanks.

I've notice that Karmic has 0.2.8-1 which is effectively unusable
because it doesn't have the login url patch.

Can it, at the very least, be updated to the same version that is in
lucid, which is the same as karmic, but also has the patch.

[Bug 352077] Re: multiple instances on one box undesirable

2010-02-26 Thread Dave Pusey
I tried PIP, but didn't won't the other feed obscuring part of the main

My suggestion would be to have a command-line switch like --allow-
multiple that would bypass the check if used.

[Bug 525814] [NEW] Encoder state code for Recording has changed in 0.22

2010-02-22 Thread Dave Pusey
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: mythtv-status

The encoder state code for Recording in the xml feed has changed from
4 (in MythTV 0.21) to 6 (in MythTV 0.22)

This causes a display of

mediacenter (1) - 6

instead of

mediacenter (1) - Recording

Here is the fix...

Change line 161 of /usr/bin/mythtv-status to

  '^6$' = ${warning}Recording${normal} },

I don't beleive this is a duplicate.

Bug 500396 is about dependency issues during installation.

This bug is about code that doesnt work correctly, after MythTV is
upgraded to 0.22

[Bug 352077] Re: multiple instances on one box undesirable

I have a genuine need to run multiple frontend processes on my computer.

there a way to override this restriction?
