Symptom: When configuring blueman to offer a Bluetooth Network Access
Point and instructing it to use dhcpd for the DHCP server, it feeds
127.0.0.53 to the clients as the DNS server. This does not work because
127.0.0.0/8 is only
fwiw, the old vmhgfs module does appear to work (obviously not a long-
term workaround). You can build and install the one distributed with
open-vm-tools-dkms like so:
cd /usr/src/open-vm-tools-10.0.7/vmhgfs
make
cp vmhgfs.ko /lib/modules/`uname -r`/updates/dkms/
depmod
insmod vmhgfs.ko

Here's my output from the same, since I have this keyboard also, and am
having the same problem. Note that the volume down key is also mapped
incorrectly, and returns the code for Refresh instead of VolumeDown.

I'll point out that the Mute and Eject buttons are in fact mapped
correctly however, so those two do what they're supposed to. :)

Lucid, and the problem appears to have been resolved at some point. The
bluetooth drivers in Lucid work fine on this box.

I spoke too soon, my workaround did not survive a reboot. However,
changing the keyboard layout from Apple:Macintosh to Apple:Apple *did*
survive a reboot, and did solve the problem for me.

key works fine, but caps lock has the problem described here (key works,
but the light doesn't light up). Removing the mouseemu package does

my mythbuntu-control-centre issue was apparently something to do with
compiz... I was having that hang anytime a dialog window showed up (as
opposed to a normal window). I disabled the effects and it stopped
hanging. So I have my mythtv stuff mostly working on jaunty now. I
have two of these
OK, turns out the model=imac24 does work on Intrepid, it just needed a
reboot (rmmod snd-hda-intel modprobe snd-hda-intel without gdm
running wasn't enough for some reason, though that did activate it on
jaunty).

Woot, that works!!! Thanks! I'd been through bunches of different
models thinking something like that might trigger it, but that one
wasn't one that was tried. Can't remember where I found it, but there
was a list of available models for the hda-intel driver somewhere, and I
don't believe that
I have no way to test the digital audio. Don't have any other equipment
that'll talk to it. I'll see what I can do about testing the input though.

I still can't get sound working on Intrepid. (And mythbuntu-control-

I get the following repeating periodically in /var/log/messages:

So in an unrelated incident, I upgraded the RAM in the Mini to 4GB, and
could only see 2.6 GB of it. Having seen this problem on RHEL servers
before, I knew the answer was install a PAE-enabled kernel. Couldn't
find anything branded that in Ubuntu's repos, but I saw the linux-
server package,

I'd like to request this be backed out. I run a Mythbuntu system, and
the system automatically logs in as the 'mythtv' user, which is a system
user. Now I can no longer tell when my system needs an update because
you've disabled the update-manager on me.

hmm, nevermind, current Mythbuntu apparently has you create a normal
user for the desktop/frontend, and only uses the mythtv userid for the
backend. I'm a victim of upgrading this thing over and over since Edgy
or so. I'll create a new user and migrate everything over.

version of mythtv showed up, but the modules for it hadn't been compiled
yet. So I built my own packages of the updated version of the modules,
then a week later when they finally showed up
