[Bug 343516] [NEW] [Gateway MT3705] suspend/resume failure
Public bug reported: I put my machine to sleep and closed the lid. Sever whiles later, I opened the lid and the machine turned on but did not display anything on the screen. The hard drive activity light was not blinking so i assumed the worst, pushed a few buttons to see if it would wake up any more and then held down the power button. ProblemType: KernelOops Annotation: This occured during a previous suspend and prevented it from resuming properly. [Bug 291975] Re: Wireless will not authenticate with MSChapV2
I have installed Jaunty Alpha 5 onto a flash drive, booted as a live CD, and successfully connected to the wpa/peap network called wildcats without any issue. The form to fill out upon attempting to connect was filled in as such: Authentication: Protected EAP Anonymous Identity: *do not put anything in* User Name: usern...@pct.edu Password: *network password* does not require a CA Certificate. -- Wireless will not authenticate with MSChapV2 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/291975 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 291975] Re: Wireless will not authenticate with MSChapV2
booted, attempted connection to wildcats ( the wpa/peap network ), failed, then connected to pda (unsecured/open), success. ** Attachment added: My syslog http://launchpadlibrarian.net/23431561/syslog -- Wireless will not authenticate with MSChapV2 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/291975 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 291975] Re: Wireless will not authenticate with MSChapV2
For that previous syslog, that was after using the package recommended by Alexander Sack. -- Wireless will not authenticate with MSChapV2 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/291975 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 296855] [NEW] Ubuntu Intrepid on USB resets Timezone on Boot
Public bug reported: evand said these lines in casper are where the issue lies (or at least that's how i understood it): ~/bzr/casper.trunk$ tail -n1 scripts/casper-bottom/02timezone cp -f /root/usr/share/zoneinfo/UTC /root/etc/localtime When I boot into my Ubuntu Intrepid USB Distribution, my timezone is set to blank. I set the timezone to EST -5, reboot, and it comes up blank again. The way I see it is that Ubuntu-on-a-stick still thinks it's a live-cd, and this may be an issue with a few other things. ** Affects: casper (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Assignee: Evan Dandrea (evand) Status: New ** Changed in: casper (Ubuntu) Assignee: (unassigned) = Evan Dandrea (evand) -- Ubuntu Intrepid on USB resets Timezone on Boot https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/296855 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 292159] Re: MASTER update-initramfs is disabled since running on a live CD but it is running from a flash drive.
I'm still a novice with reporting bugs, but I have this same issue. If there is anything I can submit that would help with this issue, please let me know. -- MASTER update-initramfs is disabled since running on a live CD but it is running from a flash drive. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/292159 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
