[Bug 1912690] Re: Bluetooth transaction timeout on startup

2021-03-17 Thread Detlef Brendle
today my computer got stuck on startup again.
So I believe that the error is still present.

Do you need logs from my side ?

2021-03-11 Thread Detlef Brendle
The error came from time to time - say every 10th start.
I have not noticed it for long, but maybe it is still there.

I will update you once it appears again.

[Bug 1326225] [NEW] Unity Dash and Sidboard gone after package upgrade

2014-06-04 Thread Detlef Brendle
Public bug reported:

Hi,
Im working with Ubuntu 14.04 and have done a normal software upgrade yesterday.
With that my Unity seems to be broken.
After rebooting the X Session appears without window decoration and without the
Unity Dash, Sidebar and Top Bar.

I could not see what is wrong on my machine.
I also tried to delete the '~/.config' folder but without success.
Some settings seems to be corrupt but I cannot find what.

Im running Ubuntu 14.04 on a Dell M3800.

Unity package version is:

unity:
  Installiert:   7.2.0+14.04.20140423-0ubuntu1.2
  Installationskandidat: 7.2.0+14.04.20140423-0ubuntu1.2

[Bug 1216583] Re: 14e4:16bc Sandisk ExtremePro 32GB not readable in Acer Aspire V3-571G

2014-01-03 Thread Detlef
I did the following:

in file /etc/modules:

# /etc/modules: kernel modules to load at boot time.
#
# This file contains the names of kernel modules that should be loaded
# at boot time, one per line. Lines beginning with # are ignored.

lp
rtc
pciehp

Then I tried this:

pciehp.pciehp_force=1

pciehp.pciehp_poll=1

elevator=noop

...and the combinations:

pciehp.pciehp_force=1 pciehp.pciehp_poll=1

Of course, I would! But how can i do that? There isn't an ISO-file.

Are there instructions, which I could follow?

I can only try with a live CD-ISO or such as, because I need the

[Bug 1216583] Re: Sandisk ExtremePro 32GB not readable in Acer Aspire V3-571G

2013-08-30 Thread Detlef
Sorry, the postings from 45 to 58 are double. My mistake.

I try it with:

ubuntu-10.04-desktop-amd64.iso

No change!

Could be, that in this version is no driver for the reader and other
hardware, because no WLAN, no LAN was detected.

So I can't give you no information with 10.04.

By the way: I made an extern USB 3.0 reader on the notebook and all was fine.

The notebook is about 3 month old, so i made it with 12.04.2
(longtime!). I didn't test it with earlier ubuntu versions.

[Bug 1216583] Re: Sandisk ExtremePro 32GB not readable in Acer Aspire V3-571G

2013-08-28 Thread Detlef
i boot from usb stick with 13.10 iso (development branch). I cant see the sd
card.
apport-collect -p linux 1216583 i did with card in the reader.
gparted shows a device on /dev/mmcblk0 with 29,36 GiB. Could this be the card?

Now i'll do
apport-collect -p linux 1216583
 without the card in the reader
