[Bug 1326225] [NEW] Unity Dash and Sidboard gone after package upgrade
Public bug reported: Hi, Im working with Ubuntu 14.04 and have done a normal software upgrade yesterday. With that my Unity seems to be broken. After rebooting the X Session appears without window decoration and without the Unity Dash, Sidebar and Top Bar. I could not see what is wrong on my machine. I also tried to delete the '~/.config' folder but without success. Some settings seems to be corrupt but I cannot find what. Im running Ubuntu 14.04 on a Dell M3800. Unity package version is: unity: Installiert: 7.2.0+14.04.20140423-0ubuntu1.2 Installationskandidat: 7.2.0+14.04.20140423-0ubuntu1.2 Versionstabelle: *** 7.2.0+14.04.20140423-0ubuntu1.2 0 500 http://ch.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ trusty-updates/main amd64 Packages 500 http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ trusty-security/main amd64 Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status 7.2.0+14.04.20140416-0ubuntu1 0 500 http://ch.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ trusty/main amd64 Packages ** Affects: unity (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: unity -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1326225 Title: Unity Dash and Sidboard gone after package upgrade To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/unity/+bug/1326225/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1216583] Re: Sandisk ExtremePro 32GB not readable in Acer Aspire V3-571G
Sorry, the postings from 45 to 58 are double. My mistake. I try it with: ubuntu-10.04-desktop-amd64.iso No change! Could be, that in this version is no driver for the reader and other hardware, because no WLAN, no LAN was detected. So I can't give you no information with 10.04. By the way: I made an extern USB 3.0 reader on the notebook and all was fine. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1216583 Title: Sandisk ExtremePro 32GB not readable in Acer Aspire V3-571G To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1216583/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
