[Bug 708493] Re: cannot login anymore: Read from socket failed: Connection reset by peer

2011-12-17 Thread Devil999
I'm in the same situation, and shortening the cipher list didn't help.
I've tried via terminal with ‘ssh -c aes256-ctr host’ and by editing
/etc/ssh/ssh_config, and removing some ciphers off the cipher list. Same
result. This bug is now almost a year old. Being critical, I get the
feeling it's not having development at all, although it cripples SSH to
a halt. Can someone provide a solution for this?

[Bug 484142] Re: Ubuntu one used space differs on local machine and on the server

2010-12-07 Thread Devil999
I'm having the same problem. After some sync-bugs (solved now, with
maverick), I have no files in my Ubuntu One Folder nor in the WebUI, but
it still shows 901.6MB used?

[Bug 444950] Re: sound stops working with pulseaudio

2010-10-25 Thread Devil999
I can confirm this bug in Maverick. I'm getting quite some
pulseaudio[1894]: ratelimit.c: 452 events suppressed lines in
/var/log/user.log

I can supply some more info, but dunno if it's any help, with all the logs
above.
Just for the record, my soundboard is recognized as an HDA Intel - Nvidia
MCP77/78 HDMI, using laptop.

[Bug 629258] Re: Battery life estimation never comes around

2010-10-12 Thread Devil999
I can confirm this for HP Pavilion DV71060-ep.
Plus: when the battery is plugged, instead of one option on the menu, I have
one for the battery, and one for the dc line. That means that I've got one line
saying Estimating all the time, and when I'm charging the battery, I have 2.
Indeed, I never had the computer displaying the right remaining time, only the
%. Also on Windows.
Can also confirm that the battery info on the detailed window is correct,
including the %.

[Bug 480497] Re: Various applications freeze on exit.

2010-06-24 Thread Devil999
Started having this problem today. First detected when my Amarok stopped
detecting musics and hanged on close. Had to kill the process to close
it. After a few hours, I stopped having sound on Skype, a few moments
after starting a call. Also hanged on close.
