I'm experiencing the same bug on KDM 4.6.5. I created a new user and when tried to login with it, I'm asked to change the user's password but I'm unable to type anything at all. I should mention, that I start a new session through KDE's KMenu after being logged in as another user. Cheers! --

Unfortunately the bug is not gone at all. Using KTorrent (Version 3.1.2 Using KDE 4.1.2) to download small files of the contents still messes up the chunks, but after manually deleting the damaged .srt files and forcing KTorrent to recreate them, the problem disappears, but only temporarily. The
