[Bug 523587] Re: /etc/init/mounted-tmp.conf uses find, which is in /usr/bin

2011-02-09 Thread Djoko
I use Ubuntu Karmic. I also experienced the same problem, which I never
knew before. Problems arise when doing a new installation, and I make a
/tmp on another partition, separate from / (root), the files in /tmp is
never deleted. I have to delete them manually

Leandro, try to install cups-driver-gutenprint, then you must delete all
previous printer, then add the printer again, I do that and succeed

[Bug 576058] Re: Epson T24 does not work in Lucid (while it worked in Karmic)

2010-05-18 Thread Djoko
I've updated to the proposed repo, but still can not print.

Then I tried to install Turboprint (trial version) ... amazing, the
printer can print. But there is a strange thing, when I try to use the
cups-gutenprint driver (probably able to print) still can not print, and
when I try again using Turboprint driver, the printer can not print, and
on the Turboprint status, show a message: printer not connected or
switch-off and then the next message appears: usb_error: -1. To be able
to print again, the printer must be turned off and then turned on again.

Indeed, with Turboprint can solve the problem, but I don't want to use
it because I have to pay, better go back to Karmic Koala: p

Here I include cups error_log

My Epson Printer T20E also can not be used in Lucid, whereas in ubuntu 9.xx
can run normally.
The printer is detected as the T20E and drivers used are T20. But strangely,
when lsusb detected as Epson D88 +

[Bug 326779] Re: Jaunty LTSP Client can't login to server

2009-02-23 Thread Djoko
Thank you for your response and sorry for my late reply.
Our client computers are now able to login to server normally after upgrade and
build the ltsp client performed ... :-)

But another problem occured that printing process could not be executed from
the client (server printer) which connected to HP-jetdirect. Seem that printer
doesnt connect. I have set all the parameters to
/var/lib/tftpboot/ltsp/i386/lts.conf and also to /opt/ltsp/i386/etc/lts.conf.
And this is a part of my lts.conf :

[default]
X_COLOR_DEPTH=16
X_RAMPERC=80
NBD_SWAP=True
NETWORK_COMPRESSION=True
LDM_DIRECTX=True
LDM_GUESTLOGIN=True

# I put printer at client #1 because my server doesn't has LPT port (printer =
Epson C43SX)
[00:B0:4C:39:23:CB]
PRINTER_0_DEVICE=/dev/lp0
LDM_USERNAME=klien01
LDM_PASSWORD=xxx

Do I have a mistake or this is a new bug..?

Server : Intel Core2Duo 2.4 GHz DDRSDRAM 2 GB HDD SATA 160 GB
Client : Pentium 3 733 - 933 Mhz SDRAM 256 MB

[Bug 326779] [NEW] Jaunty LTSP Client can't login to server

2009-02-07 Thread Djoko
Public bug reported:

I have installed Ubuntu jaunty alpha 3, and on 06-02-2009 I have managed to do
partial-upgrade from alpha 3 (download size about 370 MB with kernel 2.6.28-6
generic 2.6.28-6.17). I installed LTSP server after the subject partial
upgrade, and the intallation process end successfully.
The problem is, when I try to login from client, it gives a progress bar but
stop about 15%, and after about 2 minutes appear this message on client's
screen :
   Disconnecting : que, disconnect, sock, done
Client can't login to server, and I have to "hard-boot" to power-off client.
I have tried sudo ltsp-update-sshkeys and sudo ltsp-build-images, but the error
still remains
Is this another bug ?
