[Bug 1391775] [NEW] SSH_AUTH_SOCK and GPG_AGENT_INFO unset
Public bug reported: I use Distributor ID: Ubuntu Description:Ubuntu 14.04.1 LTS Release:14.04 Codename: trusty After some of the recent updates when using from terminal ssh or gpg started to ask key passphrase. I noticed that SSH_AUTH_SOCK and GPG_AGENT_INFO are unset. After playing around I found out that they are only unset when launching terminal using Alt-F2. If using Dash (Super), then it is fine.. env dump attached for both cases. you can see that env-alt-f2.txt has no SSH_AUTH_SOCK or GPG_AGENT_INFO set. Bad one has JOB=xsession-init. Good one has JOB=dbus. [Bug 833547] Re: xrandr shuts down external HDMI display
Little bit more clarification. When system boots, I can see console on external display. But when X starts, external display goes to standby With older kernel everything was fine. xrandr does not here in anyway If I go to console with Ctrl-Alt-F1, it will not help... When I do logout, then external display goes up and shows. But if I login again, then it goes standby again... ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete = Confirmed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/833547 Title: xrandr shuts down external HDMI display To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/833547/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 801346] [NEW] Firefox uses Socks proxy from Gnome network proxy
Public bug reported: 1) Description:Ubuntu 11.04 Release:11.04 2) firefox: Installed: 5.0+build1+nobinonly-0ubuntu0.11.04.2 Candidate: 5.0+build1+nobinonly-0ubuntu0.11.04.2 Version table: *** 5.0+build1+nobinonly-0ubuntu0.11.04.2 0 500 http://fi.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ natty-updates/main i386 Packages 500 http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ natty-security/main i386 Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status 4.0+nobinonly-0ubuntu3 0 500 http://fi.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ natty/main i386 Packages 3) Gnome Network Proxy has different settings for HTTP/HTTPS and SOCKS proxies. And Firefox proxy settings are set to use System proxy settings. While browsing, Firefox must use HTTP/HTTPS proxy. 4) Firefox actually uses SOCKS proxy, instead of HTTP/HTTPS. NB... If using those proxy settings in Firefox itself, it uses HTTP/HTTPS... I guess, it must use HTTP also from System settings as well... ** Affects: firefox (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/801346 Title: Firefox uses Socks proxy from Gnome network proxy To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/firefox/+bug/801346/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
