update-manager crashed with TransactionFailed in _run()

I'm still having this issue with the final release of Maverick. Is
there anything I can do to help get this fixed in time for the next
major release, or even a bugfix for Maverick?

Bug occurred trying to suspend. It seemed like the laptop actually
suspended correctly, then resumed correctly, but still triggered this
bug report.
