My only problem with this Indicator Applet is the spacing between the
icons. It should at least be possible to re-arrange (or remove) them
and/or edit the spacing between them by right-clicking and selecting
preferences or something like that.

No sound applet on the gnome panel
Correct me if I'm wrong but AFAIK You only need to comment (#) the lines
which apt-get complains about...
There's no need to disable everything (AFAIK)... :)

Packages with custom /etc/sysctl.d/30-foo.conf files can fail to install: start
procps returns exit status 1
This occurred during the audio test in test suite.

I finally got flash working acceptable again... :)
It seems that some changes I had made to /etc/pulse/default.pa CREATED
the problems with flash playback...
I discovered that playing other video files (in VLC / Gnome Player
(Mplayer) etc.) were also slow/sluggish...
I had kept the original
Uninstalled flashplugin-nonfree and tried mozilla-plugin-gnash
instead... Flash works (but more sluggish than when the Adobe plugin
actually worked)...

Installed: 0.8.5-0ubuntu1

Removed gnash gnash-common and mozilla-plugin-gnash and reinstalled
Adobe flashplugin (flashplugin-installer)...

No video, only sound... I too can CONFIRM that this has come through
updating the system via update-manager...
I have tested it in Chromium (daily build 4.0.202.0 (23182)) and Firefox
Shiretoko (3.5.3-pre) too... Same results... No video, only
I can confirm this... Doesn't matter which sites... Here's a few
examples (random):

NO VIDEO, only sound...

AFAICT this ONLY happens (for me at least) when I have enabled blinkligt
plugin (Thinkpad ThinkLight blinks on incoming messages)...
I don't get any error message though... Pidgin just doesn't respond and
has to be force quit...
I have only enabled the blinklight feature when conversations
Same here... Also Jaunty Alpha 4, AMD64 and ext4...
