Just closing the window and changing the "[Icon Theme] Inherits=Name_pointer" does not help. Resizing the cursor, as shown in the out-4.ogv by Paolo shows that simply quitting the "Customize" dialog doesn't do anything to refresh the cursor. Also, rebooting doesn't seem to help, either (i.e. the workaround does not work in all circumstances).
