[Bug 1061919] [NEW] Menu bar should expand to fit larger text

2012-10-04 Thread Dylan McCall
Public bug reported: The menu bar seems to be set to an arbitrary height. If I use the Universal Access settings panel to choose the Larger (1.5) text size, that text barely fits in the menu bar and it looks quite ugly because it goes right to the edge of the panel. If I increase text scaling

[Bug 958411] Re: High contrast inverse theme has incorrect/missing icons

2012-10-04 Thread Dylan McCall
The High Contrast theme seems to be using a mix of icon styles for its 24px status icons, including outdated icons copied from old versions of ubuntu-mono-light. Many of these icons are dark grey, which is a very poor fit against the black menu bar in Unity and the black panels in gnome-panel.

2012-10-04 Thread Dylan McCall

[Bug 1059665] [NEW] generate-pot-files.sh sometimes generates files with multiple headers

[Bug 129041] Re: xterm icon available by default

2012-09-30 Thread Dylan McCall
This really has nothing to do with xterm, except that the fix needs to be in the xterm package. Ubuntu is meant to be easy to understand, and it's really important that new users can explore all of the applications they are getting out of the box without running into a brick wall or feeling lost.
