The problem occured to me again, this time on a different setup: dual boot Windows 7 and Kubuntu 11.10 Oneiric Ocelot, so a completely different kernel than Lucid. Ran Windows 7 exclusively for a week: no apparent problems with the disk. My 2nd day with Kubuntu and after some 5 hours of uptime...

I get similar error messages. I'm know on Lucid with the following kernel: 2.6.32-35-generic-pae #78-Ubuntu SMP Tue Oct 11 17:01:12 UTC 2011 i686 GNU/Linux Although I've experienced similar errors on Natty however I don't have the logs from those freezes anymore. Anyway here are the latest
