Re: [Bug 186562] Re: Evolution is not storing message read tag on IMAP folders
Hi Milton. I think the problem is that this bug could not be confirmed by other uses (at least the one I had). In my case it was a problem on my cyrus IMAP server. The seen-database for my account was corrupted. May have a look in the log files of your IMAP server if you have your own one or contact your mail provider to check the account. regards Eugen Wintersberger On Mon, 2008-03-31 at 12:21 +, Milton Pividori wrote: Why isn't this a bug? I have the same problem: I open Evolution, check for new mail in my IMAP accounts and read them. All are marked as read. When I close Evolution and open it again, messages are marked as not read. If you press Receive and Sent button, all messages are correctly marked as read or not read. I think this is a minor bug. -- Evolution is not storing message read tag on IMAP folders https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/186562 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 186562] [NEW] Evolution is not storing message read tag on IMAP folders
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: evolution I use the AMD64 Ubuntu 7.10 Gutsy Gibbon release. The evolution package is 2.12.1-0ubuntu1. After an update two weeks ago Evolution stops to set the message read tags on the mails in my IMAP folders. Everytime I restart Evolution all messages appear as unread. Unfortunately I forgot the date of the update. However, this is quite annoying since Evolution worked fine until this time. I use a Cyrus IMAP server on a Debian Etch installation (the cyrus packages are version 2.1.18-5.1). best regards Eugen Wintersberger ** Affects: evolution (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Evolution is not storing message read tag on IMAP folders https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/186562 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
