[Bug 1891919] [NEW] Icon path in .desktop file incorrect

The icon path set in '/usr/share/applications/meshlab.desktop' incorrectly
points to
'/usr/share/pixmaps/meshlab.png'
instead of
'/usr/share/icons/pixmaps/meshlab.png'.

[Bug 1825963] Re: Abysmal memory leak on tracker-extract

2020-07-03 Thread F S
I get the same error as Alex, but for TGA files:

```
tracker-extract[13828]: Call to
gst_discoverer_discover_uri(file://[...]/Ale_col.tga) failed: Internal data
stream error.
```

The error only occurs with certain TGAs, I shall attaching one below.

My current workaround is to add '*.tga' to
"/org/freedesktop/tracker/miner/files/ignored-files" in `dconf-editor`.

SYSTEM:
```
#lsb_release -rd
Description:Ubuntu 20.04 LTS
Release:20.04
#apt-cache policy tracker*
tracker-extract:
  Installed: 2.3.3-2
  Candidate: 2.3.3-2
  Installed: 2.3.3-2
  Candidate: 2.3.3-2
tracker:
  Installed: 2.3.4-1
  Candidate: 2.3.4-1
[Bug 1885959] [NEW] Folders conditions only work with single condition
2020-07-01 Thread F S
Public bug reported:
When more than one folder condition is specified, the action does not
appear in the Nautilus context menu.
EXAMPLE: action.desktop
```

Name[C]=TEST
TargetLocation=true
ToolbarLabel[en_GB]=TEST

[X-Action-Profile profile-zero]
Name[en_GB]=Default profile
Name[en]=Default profile
Name[C]=Default profile
Exec=notify-send ok
Folders=/usr/bin;/bin;
```
EXPECTED BEHAVIOUR:
Action to be available in Nautilus context menu for files that are located in
/usr/bin or /bin
OBSERVED BEHAVIOUR:
Action is not available anywhere.
SYSTEM:
`lsb_release -rd`
```
Description:Ubuntu 20.04 LTS

[Bug 498876] [NEW] Mute led from HP dv6575us turns blue when sound is on or touched and red some seconds later

2009-12-20 Thread Diogo F. S. Ramos
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-settings-daemon

The led from the multimedia have two states to reflect the mute state:
blue and red (orange for some people). When the sound is not muted the
color is supposed to be blue. When it is muted, red.

The color boots red but as soon as a user logs and the intro music is
played, it turns to blue. Some seconds latter, it is red again, although
the sound is not muted.

If I play some music, the color changes to blue and stay on that state
as long as there is music playing. If I press the mute button with the
music playing, the sound is muted but the color stays blue. If I then
pause the music, some seconds later the color turns to red.

If there is no music playing, when I press the button the color changes
to blue and, some seconds later, to red again, doesn't matter the actual
state of the mute.

The state of the led then seems to be related to whenever is music
playing or not, not the actual state of mute.

The actual muting works fine. The sound is muted and the icon at the
notification area changes accordingly.

[Bug 231034] Re: desktop freeze when moving emacs in workspace switcher

2008-12-14 Thread Diogo F. S. Ramos
Same here.

Actually, I think the same problem happens also when the effects of
Compiz are on, but the period of freeze is much shorter.

Tried using another account and the problem did not happen. Seems to be
a specific configuration of this one, but I am not sure.

[Bug 231034] Re: desktop freeze when moving emacs in workspace switcher

I confirm what philipp said about the X version of Emacs. The freeze
apparently happens with the GTK+ version, not the X one.

[Bug 223273] [NEW] Can't use accented words out-of-box, instead blank boxes or asian letters are inserted

2008-04-27 Thread Diogo F. S. Ramos
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: emacs-snapshot

Description:Ubuntu 8.04
Release:8.04

emacs-snapshot-gtk:
  Instalado: 1:20080228-1ubuntu1
  Candidato: 1:20080228-1ubuntu1
  Tabela de versão:
 *** 1:20080228-1ubuntu1 0
500 http://br.archive.ubuntu.com hardy/universe Packages
100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

Steps to reproduce the bug:
1 - Open emacs-snapshot-gtk
2 - Try to insert a accented letter, like á
3 - Nothing will happen, so after pressing space twice a blank square will
appear
4 - Now try to make a ã
5 - Nothing will happen again, so after pressing space twice will make appear
what I think is a asian letter

What I expected:
3 - á
5 - ã

If I open a file which already has a accented letter, it is showed ok,
but I still can't accent new ones.

I was able to get around it using the set-keyboard-coding-system
command and setting it to latin-1 but I think it should work out-of-
box, as emacs22-gtk do.
