[Bug 130519] Re: selects Teletype frontend on non-ttys

2009-11-05 Thread Feanor's Curse
Possible workaround: I added the following to the update-script: export PATH=$PATH:/sbin:/usr/sbin:/usr/local/sbin export TERM=linux This seems to be working, but to confirm, I'll have to wait for another update. -- selects Teletype frontend on non-ttys

[Bug 363027] Re: network-manager-vpnc does not recognize group secrets from cisco .pcf

2009-07-02 Thread Feanor's Curse
How is this invalid, if you have to do a restart without being told? it worked without any problems in 8.10 and now it does not like it's supposed to. If you are required to restart, you should at least get a hint for that, let alone enabling it to work without a restart. -- network-manager-vpnc

Same here, on a hardy vServer. Updates are done automatically via a cronjob, but print out the debconf error messages. -- selects Teletype frontend on non-ttys https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/130519 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed

Hi, thanks for the answer. Yes, this seems to be a duplicate, sry about that. Made a quick search, but didn't find the other bugs back then. Anyway, I purged samba and cups, without any result. I can reproduce the bug by installing libpam-smbpass again. Messages inside secrets.tdb: ltdb:

Ah something else (sry for double post): I tried to connect to the printer inside my Windows VM (Virtualbox), but no avail. So I tried to have a look at cups again and noticed it would'nt work anymore. And I have a 64bit version of ubuntu. But don't know if these are in any way related. --
