[Bug 944062] Re: display power management utilities turn screen off after 10 minutes even when VLC is playing video
it's not an Ubuntu or VLC issue: it happens here, on Fedora 19 (Gnome 3.8) - I use: $ xset -dpms $ xset s off ... to avoid it -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/944062 Title: display power management utilities turn screen off after 10 minutes even when VLC is playing video To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/vlc/+bug/944062/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1202345] [NEW] Emacs 23.4.1 on Xubuntu 13.04 shows text over text and strange cursor
Public bug reported: I upgrade my system to Xubuntu 13.04 and now Emacs show text over text and the cursor behaves strangely. If i press alt+tab the text is showed correctly. I deleted the .emacs file but the problems are the same. If i use emacs with option -nw everything works ok. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1202345 Title: Emacs 23.4.1 on Xubuntu 13.04 shows text over text and strange cursor To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1202345/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 554183] Re: paste special does not work
The same here (intermittently): sometimes, when I hit shift+ctl+v, nothing happens; nor does anything happen when I select paste special from the edit menu. But the behavior isn't consistent - with the same text copied, in the clipboard, if I close and reopen 'libreoffice -calc', it (the ctrl+shift+v) will (probably) work -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/554183 Title: paste special does not work To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/openoffice/+bug/554183/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
