[Bug 1623530] Re: Apport should be disabled by default
I agree that Apport popups are annoying and very user-unfriendly, but IMHO disabling it altogether is not the right approach, it might be better to show popups only when real user interaction is needed and available (for instance, in our case we have a lot of Apport popups on guest/public accounts that do not have enough privileges to actually send any data). That being said, as far as the wiki states Apport is disabled by default in "stable" releases (I have a freshly installed Xenial LTS and still get around a dozen Apport popups everytime I start my computer, so maybe things changed since 2012...) [Bug 762167] Re: missing dependency on gtk2-engines-pixbuf
I have the same issue since a while now, installing 'gtk2-engines- pixbuf' does solve the problem of the error lines, but it doesn't fix the theme problem. For instance, when running a Java app, that uses JInternalFrames (sorry if this is the only example I have but I see it every day), if 'gtk2 -engines-pixbuf' is not installed then the inner frames are drawn in the old GTK way (which looks pretty awful when combined with the ambiance theme https://launchpadlibrarian.net/94538299/newimage.png), but, if 'gtk2-engines-pixbuf' is installed it shows a badly drawn frame border as you can see here https://launchpadlibrarian.net/83306890/windowbug.png in Bug #878937 I'm not actually know if that is the old GTK way, but I do remember having a similar theme some 7 years ago... -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/762167 Title: missing dependency on gtk2-engines-pixbuf To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/light-themes/+bug/762167/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 841737] Re: Capitalize Every Word does not capitalize every first character of each word in Calc
I've just checked in LibreOffice's bug tracking system, and there's already a bug report on this issue (#32786 https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=32786). The funny thing is that is marked as fixed in version 3.3.0.RC because it was fixed on OpenOffice (http://openoffice.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=115128). ** Bug watch added: freedesktop.org Bugzilla #32786 http://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=32786 ** Bug watch added: openoffice.org/bugzilla/ #115128 http://openoffice.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=115128 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/841737 Title: Capitalize Every Word does not capitalize every first character of each word in Calc To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libreoffice/+bug/841737/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 675899] Re: Folder Chooser for Bookmark editor
@Chris I believe that this classifies as a papercut, because new users, specially those dual-booting with windows usually leave all those folders in a separate (shared) partition, and they are more used to a visual folder selection model. @leighman Thanks for the tip!
