[Bug 1969896] Re: Evince Document Viewer(42.0) does not remember last page in 22.04 and opens in a tiny window when launched

2022-05-30 Thread Florian Beier
I just opened Evince from the command line ('evince' -> Enter) and am
seeing this error:

Entity: line 41: parser error : Extra content at the end of the document
endstream

It could be totally unrelated to this bug though.

[Bug 1969896] Re: Evince Document Viewer(42.0) does not remember last page in 22.04 and opens in a tiny window when launched

2022-05-30 Thread Florian Beier
I upgraded from 21.10 to 22.04. The issue happens when using a Wayland
session or an Xorg session. My userdir is a local one. There is nothing
special about my configuration. One thing that might be noteworthy is
that before upgrading I was using the night mode of Evince and now it is
stuck in night mode. I can disable night mode but this is not saved,
meaning that when I close Evince and open it again it is back to night
mode.

[Bug 1901922] Re: [SRU][Lenovo ThinkPad T14 Gen 1] No sound output device on startup

2020-11-14 Thread Florian Beier
I can confirm that the updated packages fix the issue for me (Groovy on
a ThinkPad T14 w/ Ryzen 7 Pro 4750U). However, the LED on the keyboard
for muting the microphone (on the F4 key) doesn't work for the internal
microphone. It works as expected when another microphone is present and
selected as input device (I plugged a headset into the audio jack).

[Bug 1901157] Re: [Raven/Raven2/FireFlight/Renoir AMD Ryzen] No Sound at all

2020-11-06 Thread Florian Beier
@Hui Wang

I installed your package and rebooted. It seems to fix the issue, audio
is working as expected again.

One thing I noticed is that when I mute the speakers or microphone via
their media keys (F1 and F4) the LEDs on the keys don't light up. It may
not be related to this issue though because when I activate the FnLock
the LED on the Esc key also doesn't light up.

[Bug 1901157] Re: [Raven/Raven2/FireFlight/Renoir AMD Ryzen] No Sound at all

2020-11-05 Thread Florian Beier
I use this small script based on Giuseppe's findings as a workaround:

#!/bin/bash
sudo modprobe -r snd_rn_pci_acp3x
systemctl --user restart pulseaudio
sudo modprobe snd_rn_pci_acp3x
