The primary monitor is a Lenovo LCD and the secondary monitor was a Sony
Diamontron CRT. The one on which the settings dialog resided was the
primary monitor and the one where the confirmation dialog appeared was
the secondary one.

Ubuntu 12.04 offers two proprietary drivers upon install for nvidia
cards. Both do not work with the GTX-460. In order to get the card to
work a PPA repository has to be added and the nvidia-current driver has
to be installed manually on the command line.

LCD@60hz) there is no way to select separate refresh rates for the
monitors. The CRT @60hz is painful to use and induces headache.
