Forgot to say that uninstalling the fprint package solved the 25 second
response time before login... I don't use the fingerprint reader

Hi,
just wanted to say I got the same error with fprintd:amd64 1.90.1-1ubuntu1 on 
Ubuntu 20.04. I had to wait  25 seconds before being able to login each time I 
lock my screen.

auth.log:
