[Bug 459968] [NEW] Evince cannot print bahn.de Online-Tickets anymore on Brother HL-5250DN
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: evince Hi, I regularly download Online-Tickets from the German railway operator www.bahn.de and print them out via my Brother HL-5250DN network printer. My last sued Ubuntu version 8.10 worked fine. Since I installed 9.10 beta, this doesn't work anymore, the Evince 2.28.1 printout just shows a grey field with Error name: undefined Command: 0a Operand Stack; --marktype-- --booleantype--. It doesn't seem to be related to Bug Nr. #295291, as other PDF-files downloaded through Firefox work fine. Printing the same ticket with Adobe Reader 9 works fine. I don't want to attach a sample file, as all my personal information (including address) is on the Online-Tickets. Maybe someone with a www.bahn.de can try this out and verify/solve it. [Bug 459968] Re: Evince cannot print bahn.de Online-Tickets anymore on Brother HL-5250DN
Hi again, now I had the same poblem with the offer a contractor sent me. I'll attach the file. If I use the file in evnce, print to a PDF-File and open that in evince again, I can print normally... Frank P.S.: The file was burst with pdftk, but keeps the printing problem - couldn't do it otherwise without publishing my address etc. ** Attachment added: Sapmle PDF for bug #459968 http://launchpadlibrarian.net/34347263/pg_0005.pdf -- Evince cannot print bahn.de Online-Tickets anymore on Brother HL-5250DN https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/459968 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 441485] Re: [LENOVO 7742NCG] hibernate/resume failure [non-free: nvidia]
Hi, too late - as I managed to crash my .ICEauthority file (I guess with sudo nautilus instead of gksudo nautilus), couldn't fix it and re- installed (it was a fresh install anyway). I thought the detailed bug report contained all the needed data... Should I try to reproduce the bug and then send the data? It can be reproduced - with the free nvidia driver suspend doesn't work and with the proprietary one, hibernate doesn't work (the same as in 8.10). [Bug 278259] Re: Intrepid ibex does not configure intel 945 properly
Hi, for me it is the same problem as bonfire89 described. See also: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?p=6235705 and the link to the other thread Franko30 (me) gave there. I use a German Transtec Senyo 600 mini PC with laptop hardware - and the Intel 945GM chip. The last working Ubuntu version was 7.10 (alternate install CD) - an update to 8.04 worked - but after updating to 8.10 the monitor (1280x1024 Samsung LCD) stayed dark. After editing the xorg.conf to use the i810 driver instead of the intel driver, I got the following error message when gdm is starting: Ubuntu is running in low graphics mode (...) (EE) No devices detected. The only way is to use the vesa driver - and that gives me a mximum resolution of 800x600. -- Intrepid ibex does not configure intel 945 properly https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/278259 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
