[Bug 686028] Re: tables load sort slow bad jre
I have the same problem. Base scans about 6 entries per second when searching, which is at least an order of magnitude less than before and makes Base unusable, e.g. searching a table of 6000 entries takes around 1000 seconds!! However I did not succeed in replacing the JRE, I installed the Java package in /opt but OO does not see a jre in any of the directories. What else do I have to do besides copying the jre1.6.0_22 directory to /opt?? Public bug reported: Binary package hint: network-manager Refers to network-manager 0.7.1rc4.1, network-manager-openvpn of Ubuntu NBR 9.04. If the vpn is started manually it works fine, if it is started via the nm applet is seems to connect, but no internet access is possible. The output of the daemon.log is given in the attached file. [Bug 374874] Re: Otherwise working openvpn connection fails if started by nm
Starting the vpn connection via nm-applet inserts an extra line nameserver 10.44.0.1 into resolv.conf before the line nameserver 192.168.0.1 which is always there (no vpn and manually started vpn likewise) -- Otherwise working openvpn connection fails if started by nm https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/374874 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 113656] Re: some drives don't eject in Feisty
Same problem here with two different USB 2.0 harddisks on a Acer Travelmate running Feisty. They unmount (data are written according to message pop-up window) and remount immediately afterwards, displaying the error message: cannot eject. Sudo umount works. USB sticks are unmounted without any problem by user. -- some drives don't eject in Feisty https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/113656 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Daniel Holbach schrieb: Did anybody have the chance to test it? Hi, my original bug report referred to syncing a Palm with jpilot. This works - at least on my system - using an appropriate udev rule which starts jpilot -s after creating the symlink to /dev/pilot. Besides I still use Dapper, sorry. [Bug 58202] jpilot-backup does not work at all
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: jpilot-backup The version 0.51-3 shipped with Dapper is not working at all. The databases created for the files to backup and those to ignore have truncated last characters and do not allow to backup or exclude by file list. This bug is known to the author of jpilot-backup, Jason Day, and is common to Debian systems. The version 0.51-4 found on the jpilot-backup website compiles in Dapper and works without problems. The version 0.51-4 from the Edgy Eft repository works but is not installable due to a library conflict (libc6). ** Affects: jpilot-backup (Ubuntu) Importance: Untriaged Status: Unconfirmed -- jpilot-backup does not work at all https://launchpad.net/bugs/58202 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
