[Bug 1014356] Re: Custom desktop wallpaper isn't displayed in the greeter (12.4)
Well, to get your personnal images displayed in lightdm, you have to copy them to /usr/share/backgrounds And you have to create or modify the file personnal-wallpapers.xml located in /usr/share/gnome-background-properties keeping this in mind : ?xml version=1.0 encoding=UTF-8? !DOCTYPE wallpapers SYSTEM gnome-wp-list.dtd wallpapers wallpaper namemy_personnal_picture_01/name filename/usr/share/backgrounds/my_personnal_picture_01.zyx/filename optionszoom/options pcolor#2c001e/pcolor scolor#2c001e/scolor shade_typesolid/shade_type /wallpaper wallpaper namemy_personnal_picture_02/name filename/usr/share/backgrounds/my_personnal_picture_02.wvu/filename optionszoom/options pcolor#2c001e/pcolor scolor#2c001e/scolor shade_typesolid/shade_type /wallpaper /wallpapers If you remove the line options.../options you'll be prompted when setting your wallpaper what kind of display-mode you want to use (zoom, span, fill...) TB icon in unity launcher never shows number of new unread message if they are in any subfolders. It only shows a number of new unread message if those are not filtered though kept in the incoming local folder. (Other side effect : pop up notification only display alert about local folder instead of mail account being used since all my mail accounts end in local folders (one global account), instead of each having its own incoming/sent/trash folders (many accounts) - in other word, when I had many separated accounts in TB, pop up alert displayed the name of the one account concerned by new unread message. [Bug 865672] Re: Adobe Flash Player Settings dialog does not respond to mouse clicks
** Description changed: WORKAROUNDS: 1. http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager06.html#117645 2. Click on the flash window. Now use the keyboard to tab through the settings dialog. Space to select. ORIGINAL DESCRIPTION: Adobe flash player is configured on my system to ask before a website sets a flash cookie, so if a video (eg on youtube) is played, a dialogue box will pop up asking me whether or not to allow the website to store a cookie on my machine. However, nothing happens when I click on either 'allow' or 'deny', so the box stays put and I can't view or control the video playing beneath it. On this machine I upgraded from 11.04 to 11.10; in 11.04 there was a program for adjusting the flash player settings in the System Settings control panel, but that program is no longer there and not accessible via the dash, so there is no obvious way to just configure flash to allow all cookies and avoid the dialogue box. Workaround: using Unity 2D instead Notice : the problem has been already corrected two years before : https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/flashplugin-nonfree/+bug/410407?comments=all - I'll add that it's perhaps because of Compiz : It works with Unity 2d, KDE, Gnome-Shell, Gnome-Session-With-No-Effect BUT it affects Ubuntu 3D, Gnome-Session Fallback and Caito-Dock session + I'll add that it's perhaps because of Compiz : It works with Unity 2d, KDE, Gnome-Shell, Gnome-Session-With-No-Effect BUT it affects Ubuntu 3D, Gnome-Session Fallback and Cairo-Dock session ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 11.10 Package: firefox 7.0.1+build1+nobinonly-0ubuntu1 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.0.0-12.19-generic 3.0.4 Uname: Linux 3.0.0-12-generic i686 AddonCompatCheckDisabled: False AlsaVersion: Advanced Linux Sound Architecture Driver Version 1.0.24.
