Hello and thanks for getting back to me.
I can run the installer for the Oct 18th release, but when I get to
create custom partition setup, it hangs.
The mouse and keyboard (USB) respond extremely slowly (move the mouse,

This bug is for the kubuntu 12.10 beta2 64-bit. Installer.
I did not specify a package because because the installer itself fails.
I never get to dealing with any packages.

Public bug reported:
Running the installer locks up the machine.
Get to boot screen of Kubuntu.
Select Install.
After a few seconds, I get a black screen and the keyboard stops working
(toggling caps lock won't toggle the LED any more).
Waited for hours. Nothing.
Tried installing both from USB
