[Bug 1725622] Re: qtcreator crashed with SIGABRT in QMessageLogger::fatal()
Problem solved: It seems that the shell received an invalid value in the DISPLAY environment variable (wayland-0) and passed it to qtcreator. [Bug 1593061] Re: Update of dashboard fails on Xenial
The problem needs to be fixed by a complete overhauling of of the openstack-dashboard-ubuntu-theme package. [Bug 1505948] Re: Memory allocation failure crashes kernel hard
As already mentioned in my email to the fuse developer mailing list, we have also tried to create direct i/o traffic on the affected mount directly but were not able to reproduce the issue. The problem only ever occurs once Qemu starts to run stuff on top of the FUSE mount. Other reports of this issue (identical or similar) have mentioned Qemu or VMware-based emulation as well. ** Description changed: Hello everybody, Linux 4.1, 4.2 or 4.3-rc leads to an immediate kernel panic in our setup when trying to start a Qemu process on top of a fuse-based mount. [Bug 1505948] [NEW] Memory allocation failure crashes kernel hard, presumably related to FUSE
Public bug reported: Hello everybody, Linux 4.1, 4.2 or 4.3-rc leads to an immediate kernel panic in our setup when trying to start a Qemu process on top of a fuse-based mount. I have asked the fuse-devel mailinglist for advice, but up to this point with no success: http://sourceforge.net/p/fuse/mailman/message/34537139/ We are still investigating if this issue is also happening with 4.0 and will add the information to this bug report once we have it. [Bug 1505948] Re: Memory allocation failure crashes kernel hard, presumably related to FUSE
We can now confirm that the issue does not happen with 4.0.9. This leads to the assumption that the problem has either been fixed between 4.0 and 4.0.9, or, and I consider this much more likely, the problem was introduced between 4.0 and 4.1 on the main branch. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1505948 Title: Memory allocation failure crashes kernel hard, presumably related to FUSE To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1505948/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1185756] Re: drbd8-utils not compatible with linux-lts-raring kernel in 12.04
That really depends on the Pacemaker configuration. If the primitive DRBD resource uses ocf::heartbeat::drbd, it's the resource agent from resource-agents, /usr/lib/ocf/resource.d/heartbeat/drbd, which is ancient and shouldn't be used. If the primitive, however, uses ocf::linbit::drbd, it's the one in /usr/lib/ocf/resource.d/linbit/drbd, which should be fine. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to drbd8 in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1185756 Title: drbd8-utils not compatible with linux-lts-raring kernel in 12.04 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/drbd8/+bug/1185756/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs

[Bug 1287621] [NEW] Java Swing Application windows with corrupt bottom area
Public bug reported: Java Swing application windows tend to have some corrupt area at the bottom when running under compiz. This problem is similiar to the one reported in https://bugs.launchpad.net/archlinux/+source/compiz/+bug/1138517 . Unfortunately, the fix made for this bug solves the problem only for popup dialog windows. It is still present for main application windows (and also for splash images, which do not have window decorations). The problem does not happen everytime, but quite often enough. Please see a screenshot of IntelliJ IDEA showing it (the bottom area is corrupted, thus not displaying important information to the user). This is NOT a problem related to IntelliJ, as it happens with other swing applications as well. Workaround: Closing and re-opening the application helps (sometimes, it must be closed and re-opened several times). [Bug 1254032] [NEW] wrong position of window reported after switching workspaces
Public bug reported: After switching workspaces by using the mouse to click on applications, the pointer position reported is not correct which cause dropdown menus to be displayed at the wrong coordinates. Because workspace switching using the keyboard or the workspace switcher on the launcher works, I'll provide detailed instructions on how to reproduce this behavior. I also attached a sample tcl/tk program that shows this issue very well. You can execute this by installing `tcl8.5` and `tk8.5` and running `tclsh8.5 unity_bug.tcl`. Detailed instructions to reproduce behavior: 1. Open an application (eg firefox, chrome, thunderbird) in the top-left workspace. 2. Run the sample program I provided in the bottom right workspace. 3. Now click the file menu in the sample program, to see the position of this window relative to the top left corner of the workspace. 4. Now switch to the apllication in the top-left workspace by clicking that application in the launcher (do NOT use the workspace switcher icon or the keyboard) 5. switch back to the sample program by clicking the sample program in the launcher (again do NOT use the workspace switcher icon or the keyboard) 6. click the menu again, note that the position reported is the position of step 3 plus your screen resolution. Note that because of this the actual menu will show in the wrong place (bottom left corner of the workspace). After you drag the window, the behavior is correct again. NOTE that this is not a bug in tcl/tk! Open http://www.w3schools.com/tags/tryit.asp?filename=tryhtml_select in Chrome. Then switch workspaces by clicking a program in another workspace and switch back to chrome, the dropdown menu will not show up.
