In my SonyVAIO Laptop VPCEB1J1E, with this fix, Powerdevil shows the
brightness OSD when press Fn keys but it not increases or decreases the

to authorize an user to access to disk (mount\umount, automount,

Sorry but I can't try the 2009-10-09 build.
I'm trying the live cd but this not stops in console prompt but at the
graphical login screen with mouse and keyboard freeze. And I can't try
this workaround.

The problem is also present if I try the live cd (i386) on a Dell Mini
Inspiron 9 but with a variant, during the boot I see the Kubuntu logo
(usplash or xplash?) but after I not see the login screen but a black
screen with in the middle the mouse pointer frozen.

I downloaded the last kubuntu karmic beta snapshoot. I choose the language,
keyboard and "Try kubuntu..."(or"Insall kubuntu...") but I show only a black
