[Bug 1498664] Re: Unity control center cannot detect Wacom CTH-661 tablet
Hi there, I got an intuos comics and I noticed the same. No detected by the unity control center, but working. So it's not a kernel issue, but just a UI one. I have browsed the source of unity-control-center and in gsd-wacom-device.c it makes use of libwacom. XSetWacom is not using that library. So my bold guess is.. is this library able to detect our wacom devices? I do not have a wacom tablet right now and I cannot test it.. but please run apt-get install libwacom-bin /usr/bin/libwacom-list-local-devices to check if your device is listed. If not the problem is about adding it to the list of devices supported by libwacom: https://sourceforge.net/p/linuxwacom/libwacom/ci/c07d3428180ed6b09d1a10893132b78bacd0a998/tree/data/ -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1498664 Title: Unity control center cannot detect Wacom CTH-661 tablet To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1498664/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
