I am using 32 bit as well. I had no problem with this on my 64-bit
machine. Hey Stevenson, how do I check to see if I have Compiz enabled?

I added the CPU Frequency Applet to a menu bar on my desktop and the
text is very faint, almost invisible. I have messed with the settings to
try and find a workaround and got nothing. I even tried adding another
applet and even that did

use top to find the process # and kill it. Even if I use Paste from the

place but then if I click on it again, the bar moves all the way to the
