[Bug 874181] Re: brltty daemon prevents creation of ttyUSB0 device link

[Bug 1670706] Re: Kernel Call Trace After Disabling an ath10k Wireless Device (Atheros QCA6174 802.11ac (rev 32))
I have the same issue with Linux Mint 19 (Ubuntu 18.04 based) using kernel 4.15 but for QCA9377 chipset. I compiled the 4.18 kernel using `make localmodconfig` and have the same problem. I had sources for kernel version 4.9.24 and it exhibits the same behavior (failed to wake target for write32) after going to suspend and then turning back on. Computer is a Dell Inspiron 14 3473. I've tried numerous debug steps like restarting network-manager, removing mac80211 cfg80211 ath10k ath10k_core and ath10k_pci modules then reinserting them and then restarting network-manager with no improvement. I have not played with "Wake on Wireless" settings yet (https://wireless.wiki.kernel.org/en/users/documentation/wowlan) While I have the QCA9377 I do believe this post is quite relavant: https://patchwork.kernel.org/patch/7548331/ so I'm going to check if that patch works for the QCA9377 and report back. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1670706 Title: Kernel Call Trace After Disabling an ath10k Wireless Device (Atheros QCA6174 802.11ac (rev 32)) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1670706/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1773515] Re: apparmor fails after removal of snapd
This has also bugged me for some number of months but the work around is really easy -- just use apt purge snapd instead of apt remove snapd What happens is that upon removal of the snapd package, dpkg sees that /var/lib/snapd/apparmor/snap-confine is empty and removes it which later breaks apparmor when it tries to open that directory (as referenced by /etc/apparmor.d/usr.lib.snapd.snap-confine.real at line 11 which the log clearly states). It appears this bug is not specific to the keyring package. [Bug 1266274] [NEW] Switching sessions: Activating current session does nothing
Public bug reported: Coming from Windows to Kubuntu, user switching is counter-intuitive when switching between multiple users. The problem is two fold 1) The "switch user" window does not close after selecting a user to switch to 2) The "switch user" window does not do anything if trying to activate the current session To reproduce issue: 1) Log in 2) In Kubuntu 13.10, Open kickoff launcher, select leave, then switch user 3) Start a new session 4) Log in to another user such as guest 5) As in step 2, select switch user menu item 6) switch back to the first session 7) Bug #1: Upon switching back to the previous session you will see the "switch user" window (should have been closed after switching -- counter intuitive) 8) Bug #2: The user will click their desired user name and click activate but nothing will happen when trying to activate the current session. The user doesnt know that the session was actually changed in step 6 because of bug #1 and despite the screen blanking, both sessions look the same. The next user fail is in step 8 where again, the user will try to activate the desired session again but for some reason activating the session you are already on does nothing (not even closing the window which would make sense) lsb_release -rd Description:Ubuntu 13.10 Release:13.10 apt-cache policy lightdm lightdm: Installed: 1.8.4-0ubuntu1 Candidate: 1.8.4-0ubuntu1 Version table: *** 1.8.4-0ubuntu1 0 500 http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ saucy-updates/main i386 Packages 500 http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ saucy-security/main i386 Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status 1.8.2-0ubuntu1 0 500 http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ saucy/main i386 Packages user@machine-eM250:~$ which kde user@machine-eM250:~$ kde No command 'kde' found, did you mean: ... user@machine-eM250:~$ which lightdm /usr/sbin/lightdm user@machine-eM250:~$ dpkg -S /usr/sbin/lightdm lightdm: /usr/sbin/lightdm ** Affects: lightdm (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: lightdm login session switch user -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1266274 Title: Switching sessions: Activating current session does nothing To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/lightdm/+bug/1266274/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
