[Bug 1681513] Re: Ubuntu 17.04/17.10: New feature in NetworkManager stops several WiFi adapters from working (MAC Address Randomization issue)

2017-07-01 Thread Gregg Berkholtz (TOCICI)
Also confirming for Surface Pro 1:
WiFi would report successful association, and then immediately drop the
connection giving "reason code 2" and "CMD_RESP: cmd 0x10f error, result=0x2"
as the only hints.

Disabling MAC randomization fixed the issue.

[Bug 793832] Re: 10.04 LTS Server anacron misconfig

2012-11-05 Thread Gregg Berkholtz (TOCICI)
On a stock 10.04 install, I can confirm that moving the file:
 /etc/init.removed/anacron.conf

into the folder:
 /etc/init/

Resolves this issue for me as well.

[Bug 589828] [NEW] Please consider adding HTTPSubModule

2010-06-04 Thread Gregg Berkholtz (TOCICI)
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: nginx

Please consider adding HTTPSubModule support to Nginx. This module
enables search and replace of text within the body of Nginx responses.
In doing so, it facilitates the ability to replicate a very valuable
Apache mod_proxy_html function: ProxyHTMLURLMap

The Apache/mod_proxy_html ProxyHTMLURLMap directive is the key directive
facilitating HTML link rewriting within a response's HTML body. I know
of no other way for Nginx to do this, than through its HTTPSubModule
support.

To enable the HTTPSubModule in nginx, the following configure option is needed:
  --with-http_sub_module option

Further details are at http://wiki.nginx.org/NginxHttpSubModule

Thanks greatly for the consideration.
