Will do, this testing can be tricky since the issue appears randomly (can take
minutes, hours, even a day for me).
Can we review the patch for the issue somewhere as well?

[Bug 1577376] [NEW] Network Manager convert static IPv6 DNS to IPv4 address

2016-05-02 Thread Guillaume Mazoyer
Public bug reported:

Network Manager seems to convert statically configured IPv6 DNS to IPv4
addresses for some reason.

Here at some screenshots (side by side) before applying the setting and
after.

As you can see in the screenshots the IPv4 address corresponds to the
first 32 bits of the IPv6 address which was entered.

Actually this is the fix that is available in the PPA. You mixed up the two
code.
Before it was a VBox cast now it is a Box cast (Box being the super-class of
VBox).
I'll try to put in 12.04 too since this is a quit important crasher.

[Bug 528527] Re: should respect the gtk always-show-image property

2010-08-24 Thread Guillaume Mazoyer
When icons are shown in indicator menus, these menus look bad. The icons
alignment should be the same as the default GTK+ menus one. Actually, it
looks like a bug. This should be fixed either by showing the icons with
the correct alignement or by not showing the icons in the indicator
menus (which is not really consistent if the all system uses icons in
menu).

[Bug 586452] Re: Empathy's back after quitting

2010-06-01 Thread Guillaume Mazoyer
Actually, I have few instant messaging accounts (MSN, Jabber, Gtalk, and
IRC x 2). Sometimes (not really often), I start Empathy by mistake so I
try to close it... But Empathy's coming bacj just after all my accounts
get connected (even if I said to him close now). So I need to quit
Empathy if I don't want to use my instant messaging accounts. It is not
a one-time problem, it does happen every time I start Empathy by
mistake.
