[Bug 6134] default Kannada rendering is also affected
I haven't looked into this issue much, but Kannada rendering seems to be affected very much when ttf-freefont is installed. I talked about this on #ubuntu-bugs today. Several others were unable to confirm. This seems to be an IM bug (probably SCIM?).
