[Bug 1024865] [NEW] close/min/max menu not visible in full-screen

2012-07-15 Thread Hagen von Eitzen
Public bug reported:

Description:Ubuntu 12.04 LTS

  Versionstabelle:

When running mudlet in full-screen mode, the usual close/min/max buttons are
unavailable. Instead, the window title Mudlet is still visible.
Steps to reproduce
1. Start mudlet
2. bring its main window to full-screen mde if necessary (e.g. by doubl
clicking the title bar)
On top of screen there will be no menu, but only the window title Mudlet in
bold. This is expected
3. Hovre with the mouse on top of screen
Expected behaviour: The application menu with close/min/max on the left appears
on top of screen
Observed behaviour: The title Mudlet remains in place (though fading at its
right edge); the menu items Games, Toolbox, Options, Help, About
appear; but no close/min/max buttons, nor any other menu option to close the app

[Bug 1010682] [NEW] Scene Info: Volume Area Info box shows garbage data

2012-06-08 Thread Hagen von Eitzen
Public bug reported:

The volume and area info displayed in wings3d show garbage.

Steps to reproduce:
Start wings3d
Create a standard shape, e.g. a cube with side length 2.0 via right click -
cube.
From the Tools menu, select Scene Info: Area Volume

Expected bahaviour:
The value 24.00 is dislayed In the area column, the value 8.00 is
displayed in the Volume column (i.e. the correct surface and volume of a cube
with side length 2.0)

Actual behaviour:
Garbage data is displayed:
505246484848484848 in the Area column, 5646484848484848 in the volume
column.

Remark:
If one splits the garbage output into groups of two digits and interpretes thes
two-digit numbers as ASCII codes, one obtains the characer sequences
24.00 and 8.00.

[Bug 940916] [NEW] kernel BUG at /build/buildd/linux-3.0.0/fs/inod.c:435!

2012-02-25 Thread Hagen von Eitzen
Public bug reported:

What is expected: Sytem runs smoothly.

What happens: System freezes to text screen showing (among others)
  kernel BUG at /build/buildd/linux-3.0.0/fs/inod.c:435!
  invalid opcode: [#2] SMP
(See below for kernel.log excerpt)

All in alkl, the system has become very unstable since the latest major
upgrade, though the problem is rather transient.
However, this is the first time I actually track things down and I'm not 100%
sure it is always the same.

[Bug 757997] [NEW] dvd-slideshow preflight checks should be stricter

2011-04-11 Thread Hagen von Eitzen
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: dvd-slideshow

The preflight check detects many problems before too much time is wasted with a
full run, but unfortunately far from all errors.
Apparently, simple spelling errors and typoes like kenbruns or Kenburns
instead of kenburns or 50%% instead of 50% are not detected during
preflight check, nor are illegal combinations like a wipe command following a
background.

It would be desireable for the preflight check to catch virtually all errors
quickly.
Maybe the code could be changed such that preflight check runs through its
normal schedule simply with all real action disabled (by some $preflightcheck
flag) and e.g. only simulating the existence of all created images.

ProblemType: Bug
DistroRelease: Ubuntu 10.04

[Bug 758008] [NEW] duration audio not useful with image sequences

2011-04-11 Thread Hagen von Eitzen
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: dvd-slideshow

Setting the duration of an image or effect to audio should render that
image/effect until the end of the latest audio, not as long as the latest audio.

Example:
/some-audio-of-20-seconds.mp3:1
/first-image.jpg:7
/second-image.jpg:7
/third-image.jpg:audio

will show the third image for 20 seconds (hence with 14 seconds of silence).
It would be more logical for the audio keyword to translate to a duration
of 20-7-7 = 6 seonds here, so that the imgae ends at the same time as the
audio (which I assume is the intended purpose of the audio keyword).

A sequence as the following should also translate audio to 6 seconds
(10+10-7-7=6):

/some-audio-of-10-seconds.mp3:1
/another-audio-of-10-seconds.mp3:1
/first-image.jpg:7
/second-image.jpg:7
/third-image.jpg:audio
