[Bug 1248368] Re: Volume up/down keyboard keys stoped working after gnome-settings-daemon package update
It appears that this bugs only affects my main account. Other new created accounts are not. The following commands did work for me : gsettings reset org.gnome.settings-daemon.plugins.media-keys volume-up gsettings reset org.gnome.settings-daemon.plugins.media-keys volume-down -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1248368 Title: Volume up/down keyboard keys stoped working after gnome-settings- daemon package update To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-settings-daemon/+bug/1248368/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1242259] Re: Thinkpad x1 Volume up down and mute keys stopped working after upgrade to Ubuntu 13.10
Same problem with ThinkPad X1 on Ubuntu 12.04 with recent kernel upgrade. Volume Up and Volume Down buttons are recognized by the system but the « VolumeUp » and « VolumeDown » commands do not respond anymore. Even if I assign them other shortcut keys (Parameters Keyboard Shortcuts). The problem does not come from the ThinkPad X1 keyboard but from Ubuntu volume management commands. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1242259 Title: Thinkpad x1 Volume up down and mute keys stopped working after upgrade to Ubuntu 13.10 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xorg/+bug/1242259/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1054808] Re: Default filename for screenshots is problematic
I am a regular user of the NTFS-3G driver and for such matter I have linked my picture folder with the one on my Windows' partition for usages on various softwares on both Linux and Windows. Printing screen with the printscreen button is really convenient but becomes questionable when files have names with characters that are not supposed to be handled in Windows such as :. Thus my Windows partition becomes quickly unreliable and a simple chkdsk /f deletes such kind of files... This is the reason why, it would be interesting for the user to specifiy a regular expression in a configuration file in order to get a customized default screenshot file name. [Bug 549939] [NEW] package scim 1.4.9-1ubunt u2 failed to install/upgrade: le sous-processus script p ost-installation installé a retourné une erreur de sortie d'état 2
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: scim - My machine had a long period (for some months) of untimely freezing (Input/Output Latency at least 100% according to the System Monitor) : I never had the chance to set apart the responsible process (lauching either gnome-process either ps axl was impossible) but I suspected npviewer.bin (Adobe Flash Applications) due to other Ubuntu user testimonies. Moreover frozen moments has led myself to mistreat my machine, because of no other way for me to reboot it correctly : most of the time, I switched to another tty to send the HALT signal (CTRL+ALT+Del). It happend at least 50 or 60 times, now it has stopped (thanks to some kind of updates : which one ? \o/).
