[Bug 632415] Re: ASUS Eee PC 900 hang on resume
Does hibernate (suspend to disk) work? Do you have a swap partition larger than the amount of installed ram? I have same problem. Managed to get hibernate to work by installing package uswsusp (which includes s2ram and s2disk). Now hibernate works but suspend to ram does not. -- ASUS Eee PC 900 hang on resume https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/632415 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 673339] [NEW] system stuck on resume from sleep. ssd and wifi LEDs lit, power cycle required
Public bug reported: Initiating suspend to ram (sleep, not hibernate) by shutdown menu or gnome power manager lid-closing setting appears to work ok. All LEDs unlit, except for slow blinking power LED. Sleep was previously working fine on the previous install, which was I think 8.10 or 9.04. On keypress, or power button press to attempt resume from sleep, screen stays unlit, SSD and wifi lights light continuously. Machine is unresponsive and requires full restart by long press on the power button. On startup from shutdown if shut down for more than a few minutes, sometimes the same symptom (unresponsive, unlit screen, lit ssd and wifi lights, requires power cycle, sometimes more than one cycle). I tried installing uswsusp. didn't help with resume from suspend, but resume from hibernate sometimes works ok, in that if the resume is shortly (a few minutes) after hibernation, the resume works perfectly. if the resume is delayed, the system enters the same unresponsive state. Power cycling results in a correct resume from the hibernation state.
