[Bug 1257533] [NEW] evolution needs advanced settings of spamassassin

2013-12-03 Thread Igor A Tarasov
Public bug reported:

Last version of Evolution use local SpamAssassin installation and database.
I have dedicated spamassassin daemon in my local network.
I want to configure Evolution to use SPAMC -d server_addr to learn and/or
check messages.
Check is optional, because server mark messages with X-Spam-Flag headers.
But configuration of using spamc -L spam/ham -d server is very important.

[Bug 1257533] Re: evolution needs advanced settings of spamassassin

2013-12-03 Thread Igor A Tarasov
I'm using workaround - replace /usr/sbin/sa-learn script with my own,
which call spamc:

- /usr/bin/sa-learn -
#!/bin/bash

SPAMD_SERVER=192.168.0.100

TYPE=''

if [ $1 == --ham ]
then
TYPE=ham
elif [ $1 == --spam ]
then
TYPE=spam
else
exit 0
fi

/usr/bin/spamc -L $TYPE -d $SPAMD_SERVER -s 25600

exit $?

[Bug 1178245] Re: missed python-apt dependency

2013-05-11 Thread Igor A Tarasov
See my screen output log.
do-release-upgrade command not working and python-apt is NOT installed and
there are NO broken dependecies in system:

root@router:/etc/dhcp# LANG=C apt-get check
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done

So, there are missed dependencies. In other way I will not able to
delete python-apt because of depend3ncy problems. So, if I can delete
this package without broken dependencies, then no dependency is working.

[Bug 1082528] [NEW] No bind backend compiled in

2012-11-23 Thread Igor A Tarasov
Public bug reported:

The package contains the next in the description:

... It also includes the bind backend that allows PowerDNS to retrieve domain
info from zone files as used by the
 bind software.

But actually it does not.

root@nx9420:/etc/apt/sources.list.d# pdns_server --help=bind
Nov 24 00:21:32 Reading random entropy from '/dev/urandom'
syntax:

root@nx9420:/etc/apt/sources.list.d# pdns_server --help 21| grep bind
Local IP addresses to which we bind
Local IP address to which we bind

/usr/share/doc/pdns-server/examples/pdns.local.bind contains the following
options:
bind-example-zones
bind-config=/etc/bind/named.conf.local
bind-check-interval=
bind-enable-huffman

But I use it in config, pdns-server won't start because of unknown
configuration directives.

Please, compile with internal bind backend.

[Bug 58625] Re: subversion doesn't includes a /etc/init.d/svnserve script

2011-05-12 Thread Igor A Tarasov
Morend way is to use /etc/default/${service} file with ENABLED=no instead of
commenting out entries in init scripts.
Initscript is missing for included svnserve component.

2011-02-06 Thread Igor A Tarasov
No one of ipset-source and xtables-addons-sources compiles in Ubuntu
10.10.

When compiling, error ‘struct xt_match_param’ declared happens.

[Bug 706565] [NEW] configs with dots in file name not working in /etc/cron.d

2011-01-23 Thread Igor A Tarasov
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: cron

I configured cron jobs with config file:
  /etc/cron.d/job.cron
and it not working.
I spend couple of hours to understand the problem.
Fix is to rename file withowt dots in the name:
  /etc/cron.d/job
is working.
Renaming back to job.cron or other name with the dot in the name cause cron to
not read this file.
I just switched to Ubuntu Server from Fedora and it works before on those
distributive.
I can't find any error messages in syslog event with -L9 command line in cron
daemon.
I can't find any warning in man page or readme document about file names.

I think there are 2 possible ways to fix this:
1) put a WARNING about file names with dots (like myjob.cron) in manpage;
2) make cron working with those files as other distro do (ex. Fedora)
