May be my problem is relative. I use x230 on dock station. Also false alarm for my #75 comment Just yesterday i copy more small file 1Gb and yes also with not good speed but without slow down pc. Now i copy 2 movies x 1.5gb , and pc hang. Not possible to move mouse normal and etc. I see this bug is from more than 2 years and not fix yet. This fix my problem. Add deadline i/o sheduler for non rotating disks
(in my case usb pen)
sudo nano /etc/udev/rules.d/60-schedulers.rules
and paste these
# set cfq scheduler for rotating disks

before change i has

i don't know why. By default form ubuntu 14.4 io sheduler miust be deadline by
default

I tried 3.8.18.30, 3.8.19 with install ati amd drives but i not have sound. My solution is fresh install 12.10 qubuntu. 13.04 is very buggy.I do not think waiting full month for fixing this bug.
