Bug encountered while updating through software updater. But, before
this, i installed the same package using the drivers found in Software
and Upates app.

yes, I logged in as root for some reasons. As soon i finished copying
files from pendrive, everything turned back to normal. The size of files
i was copying was more than 5 GB.
