And it crashed.

Upon installing the Tribe 3 CD, I went to System - Preferences -
Appearance - Desktop Effects and tried to turn off the effects, as I
find them annoying. When i did, I received the crash report from

Binary package hint: pidgin
Upon upgrading to Gutsy, i added my accounts per normal and all was
well. Upon restarting my computer, I cannot connect to any of the
networks despite any of my best efforts to do so. I am almost positive
it is my problem, i am simply not smart
I get no option to mount the Ipod, plus, no indication that the system
has even recognized that it has been plugged in at all.
