[Bug 995617] [NEW] OpenBVE crashes when launching 'Morden-Edgware via ChX' Northern Line route

2012-05-06 Thread Jamie Fell
Public bug reported:

Hi, the Northern Line route 'Morden-Edgware via ChX' crashes sometimes
when trying to select it as a route in openBVE. It leaves this error:

 at System.Windows.Forms.ListView+ItemControl.ItemsMouseDown (System.Object
sender, System.Windows.Forms.MouseEventArgs me) [0x0] in filename
unknown:0
  at System.Windows.Forms.Control.OnMouseDown
(System.Windows.Forms.MouseEventArgs e) [0x0] in filename unknown:0
  at System.Windows.Forms.Control.WmLButtonDown (System.Windows.Forms.Message
m) [0x0] in filename unknown:0
  at System.Windows.Forms.Control.WndProc (System.Windows.Forms.Message m)
[0x0] in filename unknown:0
  at System.Windows.Forms.ListView+ItemControl.WndProc
(System.Windows.Forms.Message m) [0x0] in filename unknown:0
  at System.Windows.Forms.Control+ControlWindowTarget.OnMessage
(System.Windows.Forms.Message m) [0x0] in filename unknown:0
  at System.Windows.Forms.Control+ControlNativeWindow.WndProc
(System.Windows.Forms.Message m) [0x0] in filename unknown:0
at System.Windows.Forms.NativeWindow.WndProc (IntPtr hWnd, Msg msg, IntPtr
wParam, IntPtr lParam) [0x0] in filename unknown:0

To reproduce this:
1) Make sure you have/download the latest Northern Line route from here:
http://www.trainsimstuff.org/lu-northern-line/northern-line-downloads
2) Load up openBVE
3) Select the Northern Line route above.
4) It may or may not crash. If it does, then it will most likely exit with the
above error.

2012-05-05 Thread Jamie Fell
Alessandro:

No, it crashes when loading the route (I have the latest version) and
the train (both also crash when used separately).

Also, I get no backtrace when loading OpenBVE up like that, just the
crash.

I'll grab the memory amount and post it here in a minute (I won't tell
you much with multiple processes running).

Paul:
1) Make sure you have the latest Northern Line package.
2) Launch OpenBVE.
3) Click on of the northern line routes.
4) Launch it.
5) It will probably crash.

[Bug 890804] [NEW] Window decoration suddenly stops with error

2011-11-15 Thread Jamie Fell
Public bug reported:

Hi, this is on an 11.10 system with a HP G61-410SA, and while I was
trying to load a tutorial in FlightGear (probably unrelated) when the
window decoration of compiz crashed with this:

/usr/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/ccm/Window.py:92: Warning: g_object_set_qdata:
assertion `G_IS_OBJECT (object)' failed
  self.LeftPane.pack_start(page.LeftWidget, True, True)

/usr/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/ccm/Widgets.py:1572: Warning:

I would report this with but apport it said the development has
finished.

[Bug 883752] Re: Software Centre is the most horrible, bloated and slow application I have ever used.

2011-10-31 Thread Jamie Fell
The apt-get command installs OpenShot fairly quickly. Software Centre:
Slow.

Anyhow, here's some misc. details:

CPU: Intel Celeron T3100 x2 @ 1.9 GHz
RAM: 2.9 GB
Swap: The same as memory.

Oh, reading from gnome-system-monitor, Software Centre takes up about
25% of my CPU and 150 MB (yes I know it should be MiB but I'm not
bothered). It's probably taking up 50% now, from what I can hear.
