Just had to clean on of my user's /var/log on 20.04 after they had
played kpat. This still affects LTS users.

I agree with Matteo Italia. Some of my users do use KDE desktop, but
setting global system wide fonts settings (wrong) for other Desktop
users is not the way to do KDE settings. If I just remove this file
completely, I think the system will just work better, even for KDE
users.

Just saw this on 5.3.0-62-generic on 18.04. When this happens, kernel
gets a stack trace on BUG. The problem is not in nfs-utils, but a new
bug in kernel, likely exactly kernel version 5.3.0-62-generic, since
this popped up right after kernel update.

The problem went away with linux-image-generic-hwe-18.04 4.18.0.14.64. I
think I'll just switch to that kernel for machines maintained by me.

The same thing happens on dock disconnect with Lenovo Thinkpad T480.
Here is the log.

I can confirm this with Lenovo X280, except that it happens on a USB-C
connected monitor which has a builtin USB-hub (the monitor is the
docking station). It makes the docking station unusable. In older
kernels this setup used to work. I have multiple crashes like this.

I fixed this by installing the newer nodejs version from upstream, which
